I had a tastefully decorated and new-fashioned room complete with an electric kettle, a microwave, and air conditioner. I enjoyed that beds where extremely comfy. The location was wonderful and lovely, so close to the establishment, Fontana di Trevi and the colosseum/the forum/the palatine Hill. I had lunch in Solopasta, located nearby.

The absence of clear directions made finding it a hassle!!! Steep staircases could be a struggle with heavy luggage!!! The cramped bathroom, and natural light in the room was severely lacking!!!

The room was great and much nicer that a chain hotel in the same price range. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy. Fantastic location - it was right in the middle of Rome meaning we could walk everywhere and it was just a short bus ride to the train station where we caught the Leonardo express to Fiumuco airport.
If you were not quick enough to shower in the morning (we tried just before 10am) then there wasn't always hot water left! Although this was easily avoided by showering in the evening and the positives definately outweigh the negatives at this b&B.

Flavio's warm hospitality was a highlight, as he allowed us to leave our luggage before check-in, making our day of exploration much easier.
The bathroom was quite compact, making it challenging to move around comfortably.

The location of Navona First Rooms blew me away. It's just steps away from Campo dei Fiori. Flavio, the host, genuinely. He even allowed me to leave my suitcase before check-in, which I appreciated. The room was cozy and exactly as pictured. Cleanliness stood out. Everything felt fresh and tidy. I loved having access to complimentary coffee, tea, and water in the shared kitchen, a nice perk! The common area was perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom was quite small, which could be a challenge for some. Don't expect complete quiet at night due to street noise.

Great hotel, the staff were all attentive and affable and the location was incredible to many major tourist destinations. Booked king room with a big built-in wardrobe. I appreciated 3 nights in this property...

We were given a room at the sister B&B - Residenza San Pantaleo, just around the corner. The location was perfect, just off Piazza Navona. This made it a very convenient base for all the major tourist sites. The B&B was very comfortable. The manager, Nadia, was very helpful and readily available to answer all our questions, and the staff member, Flavio, was very pleasant and hardworking.
The breakfast was quite simple - DIY coffee and toast and packaged pastries/biscuits. We ended up going out for breakfast on our own however the packaged foods came in handy as snacks while we were out, so this arrangement suited our needs.

Stayed here for 5 nights in July 2011. Booked to stay at Navona First but was given a room in Residenza San Panteleo. This was a lovely old building on the corner of the very busy Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle 11 and the Piazza Di San Pantaleo. This is opposite Campo Di Fiori and is literally 30 seconds from the Piazza Navona. The hotel offers an airport pick up service for 50 euro and this was a good idea as it took us to the correct building. A taxi is 40 euro. Our room was number 5 on the 4th floor, a triple with a kingsize bed and single bed. The beds were maybe memory foam and were very comfortable. It had a/c, a tv but no English channels and a small fridge that wasn't very cold even on full. There was a basket with some individual packs of croissant type pastries for breakfast. In the hall was a coffee machine, microwave, cornflakes, teabags and a flask of water. Also a fridge with milk, butter and jams. That's your breakfast which you help yourself to. You can also make a drink anytime in the day. The bathroom was very small but perfectly adequate. The rooms were kept clean and tidy with towels changed alternate days. There was an old fashioned lift with a metal gate and internal wooden doors which seemed reliable. The best thing about the place was the location, being 30 seconds from the lovely Piazza Navona. We walked everywhere except the catacombs which are a bus ride out of the centre. It was about 15 mins walk to Trevi fountain. 20 mins to Colosseum. I would stay here again but it's unlikely I would return to Rome. We saw all the sights we wanted and my lasting impression is that it is very busy, noisy and in places dirty. The traffic was a nightmare even on the tiny back alleys, with scooters creeping up on you all the time. I was also very surprised at the amount of graffiti everywhere. The restaurants all have the same menus and are expensive. Hope you like pasta and pizza! Come out of thr front door and take the first small road on your left.
No real complaints. There was no table so you had to eat breakfast sat on the beds. Also the fridge didn't get cold enough.

The location es excellent. The room was very nice, with two levels (triple room). Everything worked ok. Bathroom was small but very clean.
You need to know this is a Bed & Breakfast, son you cannot expect to have someone on duty all the time. In some way, your are at your own, though the office is only one block away, and the woman in charge was always ready to help. Nothing to complain, I would recommend this hotel.

Consider bringing a pair of earplugs, as the street can be quite noisy at night, especially on weekends.

The location was excellent- right in the centre of the old part of the city. Place very clean with everything working properly.
The main weakness was the 'breakfast' - which was far from satisfactory. Instead of a being offered a breakfast we had access to a kitchen and a few basic supplies - it was effectively a diy situation - which was not what we were expecting. I suggest we should have been given breakfast vouchers which we could use at one of the many cafes which surrounded the hotel.
